At Exmoor House we are committed to reducing our impact on the
environment. We aim to do this by, for example:
* Minimising waste and reusing/recycling as much as we can
* Monitoring our use of energy and water and reducing this wherever possible
* Using environmentally-friendly cleaning products and toiletries
* Using refillable bottles for shampoo, shower gel, etc
* Buying food and drink from local producers and suppliers
* Growing herbs and some salad crops in the garden
* Providing information for our guests on local attractions and public transport
* Providing facilities for walkers and cyclists
All this also helps us keep our costs down, and
in turn helps us to keep our prices good value! While
not an exhaustive list, it will give you an idea of the kind of actions we're
